Lid forming machines for highly robust two-piece lids
Our lid forming machines are used for a wide variety of packaging applications, including cardboard containers and paper cups that require heat ventilation, or screw closure.
Our lid forming machines are used for a wide variety of packaging applications, including cardboard containers and paper cups that require heat ventilation, or screw closure.
The lid forming machines produce covers that are made from two pieces: a cardboard disk and a ring. These covers are utterly robust and can be closed minutely. Contrary to plastic lids, these covers primarily consist of carbboard, providing an ideal solution in our aim to limit the use of plastics.
All equipment is customised to meet your needs, and we will make sure that the machinery is in line with other packaging production systems.
Manually inserting a spoon in the lid of a can is highly labour-intensive and therefore costly. With our SIM device, this process can be fully automated when producing round covers. Add this economic production system to our lid forming machines to meet consumer needs while keeping costs to a minimum!

SIM adapts its output to the below lid forming machines to which it is connected. Contact us to learn more about this highly economical unit!
The DSO/D lid forming machines can also make twist-off lids by adding a screw thread to the ring of the cover. By doing that, substantial cost-saving can be created. The twist-off lids are produced from coloured or printed paper. As a result, you will no longer need self-adhesive labels to create brand visibility.
The screw closure option unlocks an entirely new range of applications. For instance, these lids can be used to package candies or instant products, like coffee, soup and sauces. They also keep wet and greasy products fresh, like peanut butter or jam. And finally, they can be used to close off cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical products. In short, they provide a perfect alternative for plastic covers!

The LFM-P paper plug-in lids machine is specially designed to produce paper end lids. These are lids that do not overcap a can or cup. Instead, they fall inside the container to facilitate closing and re-closing. As the name suggests, this paper lids equipment provides sustainable products that are made of sturdy paper. As a result, they offer an excellent solution to the plastic pollution of our seas and lands.
We also design and manufacture spiral winding equipment. This machinery complements the paper plug-in lids machine perfectly because it produces canisters. Applied together, the spiral winding machine and the paper end lids machine produce high-quality packaging materials that can be assembled in our composite can machine.
Upon commissioning Inmaco machinery, we will make sure the machine is integrated seamlessly with your other equipment. We will also train your staff to work with the plug-in lids machine.
On top of these services, we offer regular machine maintenance, technical support and timely delivery of spare parts. Read about our customer services.
Paper plug-in lids are ideal for the packaging of crips, puffed food products and other goods that need to be kept fresh, as they close minutely to keep the air out.
