Inmaco’s rich history of machine engineering
Inmaco has a rich history of machine engineering. The Dutch company started in 1933 as a repair workshop, but evolved to become a machine manufacturer in the 1950s. Named after the family who ran the company, Markhorst constructed machinery that produced paper cups. However, fierce competition drove the company to abandon its efforts, focusing instead on the production of paper packaging equipment. These machines produced crimped cups, lids, composite cans and boxes, amongst other materials.
