Perfect lid stackability without separate sorters

Inmaco’s one-piece paper cover making machines are the only ones in the market that deliver perfectly stacked lids. As a result, you won’t require a separate sorting device.

Moreover:

  • You will optimise space during transport, leading to reduced transportation costs.
  • You will minimise damage during processing, thus reducing waste.
  • The filling line feed will be highly stable.
  • The surface area of your filling line can be reduced.

Tailored paper lid making machines for perfect integration

All our paper lid making machines are tailored to meet your requirements. Furthermore, we will ensure that they are in line with your cup or can machine equipment.

Automated packing, handling and palletising

Optionally, we offer a packing, handling, and palletising unit to complete your production line. The unit is ERP-integrated and fully self-supportive. As a result, real-time production information is easily obtained, the number of staff-hours can be reduced, and handling is optimised.

Spoon inserter unit

Also optional is our Spoon Inserter Machine (SIM). This unit automates the labour-intensive and costly process of inserting a spoon in the round cover of a can. Added to our paper lid making machines, SIM:

  • Is a highly cost-effective response to customer demand
  • Ensures reliable production
  • Is easy to operate
  • Is servo-mechanically driven
  • Has low maintenance costs

On average, SIM produces 80 lids-with-spoons a minute, adapting its output to the paper lid making machines to which it is connected. SIM: Contact us to learn more about this highly economical unit!

DSO/D: lid forming machine for round twist-off lids

The DSO/D lid forming machines can also make twist-off lids by adding a screw thread to the ring of the cover. By doing that, substantial cost-saving can be created. The twist-off lids are produced from coloured or printed paper. As a result, you will no longer need self-adhesive labels to create brand visibility.

The screw closure option unlocks an entirely new range of applications. For instance, these lids can be used to package candies or instant products, like coffee, soup and sauces. They also keep wet and greasy products fresh, like peanut butter or jam. And finally, they can be used to close off cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical products. In short, they provide a perfect alternative for plastic covers!

Features:

  • Lid forming machines for fully recyclable lids
  • With or without ventilation option to release excess heat (“vent lids”)
  • With a wide array of closing options
  • With optional spoon inserter for round lids
  • Optimally rimmed
  • Mechanically driven
  • With optional external stacker

Benefits:

  • High-quality substitute for plastic packaging
  • Produces well-stackable lids, rendering separate sorters superfluous
  • Easy size change for flexible production planning
  • Energy-efficient and long life-span
  • CE-certified.
